Smarter Digital Installations for Hospitality

Smarter Digital Installations for Hospitality

Axis Digital helps hospitality properties deliver a better guest experience through the professional installation of hospitality TVs. We work directly with resellers, hotel property staff, and content providers to install newly programmed content on newly installed televisions, complete with upgraded options, marketing, and streaming services.

Our team takes care of the logistics, delivers a streamlined installation process, and efficiently works around daily hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Flat Panel Programming

Properties that have made the decision to install their own televisions will still benefit from certified and professional programming support.

Axis Digital offers both on-site visits and remote programs to make sure every available channel is properly configured. Services include specialized programming options for channel labeling,  channel mapping, setting volume controls, and turning specific channels on or off.

For properties undergoing provider changes or HD upgrades, Axis Digital works directly with content providers nationwide to deliver a smooth, worry-free transition.

Modern Guest Entertainment Solutions

The PureHD OnStream platform gives guests the flexibility to stream their favorite shows, cast from their mobile devices, and connect with hotel amenities. It also allows properties to embed branded content and highlight services that make the stay more enjoyable.

Flat Panel Installation

Through Axis Digital, a turnkey solution is available for any brand of television.

Each installation project is carefully managed, beginning with logistics coordination between the TV manufacturer, distributor, shipper, and the property management team.

Upon arrival, televisions are unloaded to a secure location, counted, checked for visible damage, and staged for installation. New units are installed using hospitality wall mounts or desk mount security tape. When applicable, a head-end server may be installed on-site or in the cloud to assist in programming.

Each project also includes transporting existing TVs to a designated storage area in the new TV box for protection. From there, they are picked up by a liquidation partner or released to the hotel for its own use.

Hospitality TVs vs. Consumer TVs

Consumer TVs may seem more affordable upfront, but they’re not designed for hospitality use. They often require extra hardware, don’t integrate with hotel systems, and lack the security and warranty support today’s properties need.

Warranty

  • Consumer TVs include a 90-day warranty, which is often voided in commercial settings.
  • Hospitality TVs come with a 2-year on-site warranty and dedicated technical support.

HD Content Access

  • Consumer TVs require a set-top box to access encrypted HD channels, adding monthly lease fees or upfront costs.
  • Hospitality TVs avoid that extra hardware by using built-in technology like Samsung’s LYNK or LG’s Pro:Centric.

System Integration

  • Consumer TVs are not certified for use with hotel system integrators and often require external devices to access content services.
  • Hospitality TVs are certified for Pay-Per-View (PPV) and Video-On-Demand (VOD) services and have internal bLAN and IR pass-through features.

Security and Maintenance

  • Consumer TVs have open-access menus, lack network management, and don’t have lockdown mounting options.
  • Hospitality TVs feature controls to limit access, include firmware updates, and offer secure lockdown mounting.

Smart TV Interaction

  • Consumer TVs offer Smart Hub, but they can’t be centrally managed or connected to a property management system (PMS), so user data may remain.
  • Hospitality TVs allow centralized control, integrate with PMS platforms, and automatically clear guest credentials after each stay.

At Axis, we don’t just manage procurement.
